No mixed laundry loads - All orders large and small are handled individually. At no time do I mix together smaller loads into one large load
All laundry/ironing entrusted to me is handled with the utmost care, respect and discretion - This is a key critical point as a person’s laundry is a ‘window’ into their private domestic life. Basically, what goes on in my shop stays in my shop between me and the individual customer. I am a locally based lady-owner with over 20 years of operations management and front line customer service experience. I have used launderettes myself since taking my first job at the age of 16 and have been in a love affair with them ever since! Hence how I know the industry so well, and what customers are looking for.
The launderette is brand new, spotlessly clean with disabled access - The entrance door is wide, leading onto a slight slope down meaning customers using mobility aids or having other needs can easily get in and out of the shop, and the wide open shop space easily accommodates mobility aids without hazard to anyone on the shop floor. Using state-of-the-art JLA washing machines and dryers to deliver the perfect clean, every time you will not be disappointed in the end result
My service is very personalised - I listen to customer’s requirements and preferences and my detailed counter receipts mean that I have a record of these requirements for repeat business, building trust and confidence in the customer in me and my services
The launderette is intended as a ‘hub’ for our local community - Once the worst of this virus lock-down nightmare is over, I look forward to reverting back to my core operation of welcoming customers onto the shop floor again, where they can use our machines themselves and relax over a cup of tea or coffee (provided by us gratis), read the paper or watch the TV
Getting to know customers personally - knowing their names, tea/coffee preferences as well as their laundry preferences
